
I solved the problem by simply booting up a live Linux distro and using the free GPARTED software which supports NTFS and did the job perfectly. If the Pro version supports this then they should say so -I'm not being hoodwinked into this type of nonsense

I think the claims for this POS have more lies in it than the old Soviet cover ups in that excellent TV series Chernobyl which was on recently - Brilliant - but another issue though.

It lists as one of its features that it can extend a Windows partition without requiring a re-boot - actually there's no option to even force a reboot like the old Partition Manager did (re-booted in DOS mode to finish the job).

I can´t say this enough but this (AOMEI) is about the worst POS I've ever seen for so called sensible software which does absolutely NOTHING it says on the tin
